A man has died after a crash on the A14 involving a pedestrian.
On the A14 between Newmarket, Suffolk, and Stow cum Quy, Cambridgeshire, police were called.
A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the site after officers and paramedics responded to the location.
According to a Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman, there aren’t any unusual circumstances surrounding the death, and a case will be prepared for the coroner soon.
For several hours, the A14 was blocked in both directions as emergency personnel dealt with the situation.
