Charlotte, North Carolina (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man has been charged in connection with the death of a lady who was discovered dead in Chester after going missing for almost two weeks.
Donna Coley, 56, was last seen around 3:30 a.m. near Pinckney Street and the JA Cochran Bypass, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office. On the 31st, she was reported missing.
Deputies reported that Coley’s body had been discovered in an area off of Cradle Street at 10:43 a.m. The sheriff’s office received assistance from SLED agents in processing the crime scene.
Thomas W. Glenn, 70, has been charged with murder in connection with her death, according to the sheriff’s office. According to reports, Coley and Glenn were acquainted, and investigators think that an argument between them resulted in Coley’s death. Her body was allegedly discovered in an abandoned caravan.
During the inquiry, Coley’s car was also found abandoned, according to deputies, just outside of Chester. Glenn has a long criminal past that includes armed robbery and highly charged assault and battery.
This case is being handled by the Chester County Coroner’s Office and the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
