A man has been detained on suspicion of murder following an alleged domestic disturbance that killed a lady and hospitalised a 14-year-old kid.
Thames Valley Police said the 32-year-old man was apprehended at the scene in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, at 3.45pm on Saturday.
A 54-year-old woman was discovered at the address with severe stab wounds. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
In addition, the event harmed a 14-year-old boy. He received non-life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital
A police official said he couldn’t confirm whether the victims knew each other, but the case was being handled as a domestic incident.
Next of kin had been notified and were being assisted by specially trained officers.
DS Ian Hunter stated, “I understand that this incident will cause concern in the community, but I would like to reassure everyone that we believe it is an isolated incident.” We have conducted a thorough investigation and made an arrest.
