After being retrieved from a Coventry river, a man passed away at a hospital.
According to West Midlands Police, the 33-year-old was discovered at approximately 16:00 BST in the River Sherbourne close to Upper Spon Street.
After being brought to the hospital, the man passed away quickly. According to a police spokesperson, specialised officers were providing support for his family.
West Midlands Police have asked anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have further information to get in touch with them.
