MALTBY: Authorities reported that a crash on Highway 522 Friday afternoon claimed one life and forced Maltby to close both lanes of traffic during rush hour.
The collision between a car and a motorcycle at Fales Road was reported by the Washington State Patrol shortly after 4 p.m. on Friday. Trooper Kelsey Harding stated that investigators were still arriving at the scene at 4:20 p.m. and did not yet have any information regarding the cause of the crash or the deceased.
