Leeds United are in the mix for a number of signings over the next fortnight as The Whites look to bring in a left-back, a midfielder and a replacement for Crysencio Summerville.

The 49ers appear to be concentrating mostly on the latter at the moment, as evidenced by the rejection of a £15 million bid for Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, who is headed to Sheffield United, and the ongoing negotiations to sign Jonathan Rowe of Norwich.
There are other targets under consideration. Leeds is rumoured to have placed a bid for Chelsea’s left-footed defender Bashir Humphreys; however, Dejan Ljubicic’s high price has put a halt to an attempt to sign him.

It’s possible that a new midfielder will receive less attention than the other two spots supplied Although Leeds would like another, Joe Rothwell, who came to the team on loan from Bournemouth, may cover the midfield void.

Salzburg table third bid for midfielder on Leeds shortlist

Bobby Clark of Liverpool is one midfield player with whom Leeds has been associated. Daniel Farke is eager to sign the 19-year-old, who is drawing a lot of interest this summer and is called a “unbelievable” target.

Clark is being pursued by Celtic, Rangers, and half of The Championship. Although Brenden Aaronson left Liverpool to become Jurgen Klopp’s assistant, his former team, Salzburg, is determined to sign Clark as manager with Pep Lijnders.

According to a story in The Times, Salzburg has made a third attempt to sign Clark after Arne Slot’s team rejected bids of £6 million and £8 million. Salzburg is rumoured to have offered Clark £10 million.

Leeds should pursue a deal for Clark but only on one condition

There’s no denying Clark’s exceptional talent. However, Leeds is already a fairly young team without the experience needed to advance, and he has never played in the Championship.

Farke hinted at it previously when he said Leeds lacked a player comparable to Sam Morsy, the captain of Ipswich. The fact that Clark is a more offensive midfielder than a deep one raises another concern about a transfer for him.

Looks like Salzburg will pull off a deal for Clark, but if he does end up moving to Leeds, Farke will need to make some adjustments to his lineup to accommodate the aggressive midfielder at Elland Road.

A left-sided defender is likely to be high on Leeds United’s shortlist this summer with cover required for Junior Firpo, and one player on the Elland Road radar has been told he can leave.

Leeds is reportedly looking to add three players before the August 30th deadline, according to numerous reports. A fresh left-sided winger, a midfielder with deep-range scoring ability, and a full-back to cover Firpo are needed.

With Crysencio Summerville’s departure, Leeds’s only wide attacking options are Wilfried Gnonto and Dan James. Jonathan Rowe of Norwich City has been linked to Leeds, but Monaco is now showing interest.

Leeds is rumoured to have placed a bid for Chelsea’s Bashir Humphreys in the defence. After spending some time on loan at Swansea City, the “outstanding” defender is returning to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Enzo Maresca makes Bashir Humphreys decision amid Leeds links

The England U21 player might play on the left side of Leeds’ defence despite being a natural centre-back. Max Wober and Pascal Struijk are two left-footed centre backs that Leeds currently has.

However, Humphreys is the target, and GOAL has now provided an update. Humphreys is one of several players who have been told he can leave by Chelsea, who reportedly want to raise £200 million in sales by the end of the month.

Weeks after leading Leicester City to the Championship victory, Enzo Maresca replaced Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea’s manager. He’s made the decision to let Humphreys go ahead of schedule.

What Carlton Palmer has said about Leeds moving for Humphreys

The fact that Humphreys isn’t a full-back raises interesting questions about Wober’s future, especially because Leeds’ Pascal Struijk is beginning. Roland Virkus, the sporting director of Gladbach, has alluded to a last-minute Wober move.

Wober and Brenden Aaronson are back from their loans, but Aaronson has really tried to win people back. It is even said that while Wober was in Germany, he turned down the chance to talk to the media.

Humphreys’s interest may indicate that Wober will still leave Leeds this summer, according to Palmer, a former Elland Road standout, who thinks the Chelsea player would make a solid addition to Farke’s team if a deal can be worked out.

The greatest solution is that he’s a long way from joining Chelsea’s first team. The player had an excellent season at Swansea, thus I believe he would be a great addition to the team.
