An 18-year-old woman found dead in her flat had suffered a blood clot in her lung, an inquest has heard.
An inquest into her death opened at Norfolk Coroners Court , with Yvonne Blake, the area coroner, confirming the medical cause of death as pulmonary thromboembolism, when a clot blocks a blood vessel in the lungs.
Friends have paid tribute to Miss Lipodatenko, who was born in Lynn, on the Thornalley Funeral Services website. One person said: “She was one of the most caring people I met during school, she made me feel like I had a true friend. “She was kind hearted and would always stick up for me even if I was in the wrong. She will be missed.” Another wrote: “Karolina was my very first friend that I made in year seven and she stuck with me till the very end.
