League One team Willum Thór Willumsson from the Go Ahead Eagles has officially signed with Birmingham City, according to their announcement. The 25-year-old and St Andrew’s have agreed to a four-year contract that will last through the summer of 2028.
With the Go Ahead Eagles in the Eredivisie over the past two seasons, Willumsson has made 62 appearances, tallying 15 goals and dishing out six assists. The nine-time Icelandic international is the most adaptable midfield player on the planet. Although he can play deep midfield or on either wing, his primary position is as an attacking midfielder.
Thór has got a hammer of a left foot, loves a shot from range and will certainly play a pivitol part in Birmingham’s push for promotion straight back up to the Championship.
