MEMS Power Generation and Gillingham Football Club have reached an agreement for a new, long-term sponsorship agreement.
MEMS had been a longtime supporter until the conclusion of the 2022–2023 season, when their 12-year partnership came to an end. They are now invited to return as the primary sponsors.
Colin Jarvis, the proprietor of the business and a devoted Gills supporter, stated that although their affiliation was terminated in April 2023, it has since been resurrected with much grief and despair.
According to the club, a “long-term sponsorship deal” has been reached, and beginning of this month, their home pitch will once more be known as the MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
“We are thrilled to be supporting Gillingham Football Club again and look forward to being part of the club’s continued rise,” Mr. Jarvis stated in his statement.
“We are excited to build new memories with Gillingham, as our past is full of special times.”
Gills’ chairman Brad Galinson said: “When you can consider one of the longest standing and most significant Gillingham FC sponsors as a friend and be able to welcome him back home, you know that you are doing something right.
“It is my sincere pleasure and honour to announce MEMS as our main sponsor. Everything seems right again at Gillingham.”
A joint statement added: “This sponsorship marks a significant step for MEMS and Gillingham Football Club, promising mutual growth and success.
“Fans and supporters can look forward to seeing the iconic MEMS logo prominently featured at the stadium, symbolising a shared journey towards excellence.”
