A guy was rushed to the hospital after a crash near the Metrocentre earlier yesterday.
Northumbria Police confirmed they received a complaint of a single-vehicle collision on the A1 Northbound in Gateshead just after 1.30pm.
They also verified that one individual was brought to the hospital with injuries that are deemed life-threatening.
