A fourth person died after two cars collided near Chichester.
The crash occurred on the A285 near Duncton around 19:30 BST. It included a BMW 220 and a Mercedes C200.
Three people in the BMW were pronounced dead on the scene, while three people in the Mercedes were rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.
According to police, one of those victims has died.
