Former Crystal Palace vibrant coach joins AFC Wimbledon confirm

Former Crystal Palace coach Dave Reddington has joined Johnnie Jackson’s coaching staff after the departure of Rob Tuvey. Reddington joined Palace in 2004 and held various roles within the club’s academy over two separate spells before being promoted to join Roy Hodgson’s first-team coaching staff in 2018. He has spent the last three seasons as assistant boss of Aarhus Gymnastikforening (AGF) in the Danish Superlig, who reached the Danish Cup final and finished fifth in the league last season

“I am thrilled to join Johnnie’s staff at AFC Wimbledon, and having met my fellow coaches and the players – I am excited about the prospect of helping the club continue its progression,” Reddington said in an announcement to AFC Wimbledon.

The Dons, who placed 10th in the fourth division previous season, are participating in League Two for the third time in a row.

Reddington will work with Ashley Bayes, the custodian coach at Wimbledon, and Terry Skiverton, Jackson’s longtime assistant.
