AFC Wimbledon is getting close to re-signing Joe Pigott for the 2024–25 League Two season on a loan basis.
The 30-year-old made 157 appearances during his first stint with the Dons, tallying 54 goals.
At the conclusion of the 2020–21 campaign, Pigott departed Plough Lane to sign with League One team Ipswich Town.
Since leaving Wimbledon, he has also had stints with Portsmouth and Leyton Orient.
Along with Matty Stevens, Omar Bugiel, and Josh Kelly, Pigott is expected to increase Johnnie Jackson’s offensive options.
