Driver dies, passenger seriously injured in collision with truck in Warradarge, Police are continuing to appeal

The 19-year-old female was admitted to the hospital due to severe injuries to her head.

In the Mid West region of Western Australia, a truck crash resulted in the death of a man and the serious injuries of a young woman.

About 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, in Warradarge, northeast of Jurien Bay, a Nissan Patrol and a Scania semi-trailer crashed at the crossroads of Coorow–Green Head Rd and Cockleshell Gully Rd.

Sadly, the Nissan Patrol’s male driver passed away at the site, according to the authorities.

He was recognized as a 20-year-old male on Monday.

With severe head injuries, his 19-year-old female passenger was transported by air to Royal Perth Hospital.

The 55-year-old truck driver was sent to Jurien Bay Hospital with only minor wounds.

The circumstances behind the collision are still being looked into.
