The 56-year-old driver died after his tanker collided with a wall in West Yorkshire.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Woodhead Road and Watery Lane in Holme, near Holmfirth, and involved no other vehicles, according to police.
The driver perished at the site after becoming caught between the tanker and the stone wall.
Police have asked for witnesses to the incident, which occurred about 11:20 GMT.
