An 80-year-old man died after being hit by a car in Wakefield while crossing the street.
Police are seeking witnesses following the deadly collision in the Lupset region on Friday.
West Yorkshire Police would like to contact with anyone who witnessed or has dashcam footage of the collision on Dewsbury Road near Waterton Road.
According to a spokeswoman, the incident occurred about 2 p.m. when a blue Vauxhall Astra collided with an 80-year-old Wakefield man who was crossing the road.
“The male sustained major head injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
“Unfortunately, he died from his injuries today.
