Cyclist dies following crash in Gerrards Cross, police are appealing for witnesses

It happened on the A413 Amersham Road

Sadly, a 78-year-old cyclist passed away in a Gerrards Cross collision.

It occurred on the southbound carriageway of the A413 Amersham Road shortly before nine in the morning.

Police are currently looking for witnesses after a silver Mercedes and a bicycle collided.

PC Mellissa Wells, the investigating officer from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, stated: “A 78-year-old man lost his life in this unfortunate collision.

“I’m asking anyone with dash-cam footage or information that may be related to this to contact us by calling the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number at 101 and referencing reference number 43210387747.”

The event is still being looked into by the officers. There have been no takedowns.
