Coventry man who suffered serious injuries from two car crash died today,police confirm

Medics were called to Birmingham Road, Allesley.

A guy was seriously injured after a two-car accident in Coventry. The incident occurred on Birmingham Road in Allesley.

Paramedics were dispatched to the location around 3.45pm on Friday (October 11). The West Midlands Ambulance Service reported that two cars had collided.

Medics discovered that a man, the driver of one of the vehicles, had incurred critical injuries that were considered life-threatening. He was treated at the scene before being sent to University Hospital Coventry in Walsgrave but was unfortunately confirmed dead in the early hours of today.

West Midlands Ambulance Service made the following statement today (October 19): “We received a call at 3.44pm on Friday (October 11) to reports of a two-car RTC on Birmingham Road in Allesley.”

“Crews examined the driver of one of the automobiles and determined that he had incurred life-threatening injuries. He was treated on the spot before being transported to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for additional tests, but was regrettably confirmed dead today.”
