Emergency services were dispatched to Glasgow’s Broomfield Road on Saturday evening.
An eight-year-old girl was taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Glasgow.
Emergency services were dispatched to Broomfield Road around 6 p.m. on Saturday.
The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment and then released.
Officers reported that the vehicle involved in the incident was located nearby shortly after the incident occurred, and that investigations are still ongoing.
A representative for Police Scotland stated, “Around 6pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024, we received a complaint of an accident between a pedestrian and a car on Broomfield Road in Glasgow.
“Officers attended. The pedestrian, an eight-year-old girl, was taken to the hospital for treatment and then released.
“The vehicle was traced nearby a short time later and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
