Ben Barclay is the latest Carlisle United player to be suspended.
The defender will miss the Blues’ next match against Doncaster Rovers after earning his fifth booking of the season.
Barclay received a yellow card in the 1-1 draw at Bromley for hauling back former United player Olufela Olomola in extra time.
This came after cautions in prior games against Barrow, Bradford City, Grimsby Town, and AFC Wimbledon.
If a player receives five bookings before the 20-game milestone in the English Football League, he must serve a one-match ban. The Bromley match was United’s 16th of the 2024/25 League Two season.
Barclay, 28, is the third Blues player suspended in recent weeks, including Ethan Robson and Harrison Neal.
In Barclay’s absence, United should have defenders available for the game against Doncaster next Saturday.
