A woman died after her car left the road in the Lake District.
On Friday afternoon, the 68-year-old back seat passenger of a Nissan Note was pronounced dead at the scene on the A592 near Bowness-on-Windermere.
Her identity has not been disclosed, but police say she is from Buckinghamshire.
Three additional passengers in the automobile were brought to the hospital for treatment, although none sustained significant injuries. No additional vehicles were engaged.
Cumbria Police is seeking information about the incident that occurred at 14:51 BST near the junction with Glebe Road.
