The most recent information on Aston Villa transfers comes from Tan Kesler, director of Hull City, who describes how Jaden Philogene upcoming return to Aston Villa was made possible
Club director Tan Kesler says that Hull City is reluctantly letting go of a player of Jaden Philogene’s caliber. Kesler also explains how Aston Villa managed to defeat multiple opponents in order to win the winger’s return.
The 22-year-old chose to permanently move down to the second division last summer after an exciting preseason, leaving Villa to sign with Hull City. He thrived in East Yorkshire, contributing six assists and 12 goals as the Tigers just missed out on making the playoffs.
Due to his performances, there was naturally transfer interest. However, just when it appeared that recently promoted Ipswich Town would give Philogene his big break, his former club showed up and stole the deal right out from under their nose.
“Jaden Philogene will probably rejoin Aston Villa after our agreement is fulfilled. Hurriyet in Turkey was informed on Thursday by Hull’s Kesler, “We are working on the paperwork.” His team is currently in Istanbul getting ready for tonight’s preseason match against Fenerbahce.
Still, there was more than a hint of hesitation when he elaborated on the winger’s expected departure.
