We are requesting information after last night’s collision in Sutton Coldfield resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
At around 10.20 p.m., we were called to the intersection of Boldmere Road and Redacre Road in Sutton Coldfield following a collision involving a car and a man.
The man was treated on the spot, but regrettably, he passed away despite the best efforts of his paramedic colleagues.
On suspicion of causing death by unsafe driving, a woman was detained at the site and is still being held.
We are pleading with witnesses and anyone with dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage to come forward as we carry out our investigation.
