Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses
Surrey Police are looking for witnesses after a deadly incident in Camberley on Saturday night. Following the incident on the A30, a 30-year-old male was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police were summoned to London Road soon before 10 p.m. after receiving a report of a collision involving a car driver and a pedestrian. South East Coast Ambulance Service responded, but the pedestrian, a guy in his 30s, was pronounced dead on the site.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and has been assisting police with their enquiries. Road closures were in place overnight while the initial stages of an investigation were carried out. These were lifted at 4.01am on Sunday.
