Tragically, a teenage teenager lost his life in a collision in Lichfield.
Yesterday afternoon, at 630 p.m., paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service called us to Ash Grove.
The crash included a Nissan Qashqai and a pedestrian.
The adolescent guy who was the pedestrian sustained severe injuries. Tragically, he passed away shortly after.
His family is receiving help during this difficult time from specially trained officials.
The Nissan’s driver remained on the scene and is assisting us with our enquiries.
As we continue our investigation, a minor cordon remains in place in the area.
We are asking anyone who witnessed what happened or who has doorbell, dashcam, or CCTV footage of the area at that time to get in contact.
