A biker was hurt, according to the authorities, while trying to elude some raccoons on a Delaware County roadway.
According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department, Joshua J.C. Driscoll, 33, of Delhi, was taken by ambulance to Regional Medical Center, Manchester, for treatment of his injuries.
According to a report, Driscoll came across “multiple raccoons in the roadway” around 9:55 p.m. on Sunday while riding a motorbike north on Iowa 38, just south of Ridge Road. While trying to stay clear of the animals, Driscoll’s motorcycle ran into one. When the motorcycle landed on its side, Driscoll lost control of it.
