Warwickshire police seek for aid in finding Akashdeep Singh, who they suspect left the scene near Banbury.
Police are looking for a guy in connection with a fatal six-vehicle highway crash.
Warwickshire police believe Akashdeep Singh, 23, may have knowledge of the incident on the M40, which involved five cars and a Peugeot Boxer van.
According to police, a woman in her 50s died at the scene of the collision, which occurred soon before 7.15pm on Tuesday morning.
The police believe the Peugeot driver left the scene on foot. It posted an image of Singh, claiming he goes by the name Akash and has ties to the West Midlands, namely Oldbury.
Warwickshire police asked: “Have you seen Akashdeep Singh or know where he is? Please contact us if you have any information that will help us find him or share facts about the crash.
“We’d also ask anyone who has dashcam footage of the collision, the Peugeot and the manner it was being driven prior to the collision, to share it with us.”
The collision occurred on the northbound lane between junctions 11 at Banbury and 12 at Gaydon. The woman’s next of kin have been notified, and highly trained officers are assisting the family.
Police encouraged anyone with information to contact them, referencing incident number 303 from November 12.
