A motorcyclist died and another was injured in a deadly crash.
At 4.35pm yesterday, emergency services were dispatched to Fox Way in Portslade following reports of a collision.
Police halted the road in both directions while paramedics treated a motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead on the site.
A second motorcyclist suffered a leg injury in the crash.
According to an AA traffic update, the road is closed and traffic is delayed owing to a significant incident involving a car and a bike on Fox Way both ways between Henge Way and Thornhill Rise.
“The air ambulance has been on scene after the crash around 16:30.”
Police are asking anyone who witnessed what happened or who may have obtained relevant dash cam evidence to contact them online or by phoning 101 and citing Operation Euston.
