Three men from Sussex were arrested after 36-year-old man died in a crash on the M27 near junction five.

A man who was arrested after a fatal crash on a motorway has died, police have confirmed.

Three men from Sussex were arrested after 36-year-old Michal Kaminski died in a crash on the M27 near junction five. 

The Polish-national who had been living with his brother in Salisbury was making a delivery on the south coast for Salesmark West Limited when the crash happened. 

Following the incident on February 21, a 32-year-old man from Yapton, near Arundel, a 37-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, both from Littlehampton were arrested. 

But now police have confirmed the 32-year-old has died.

A spokesperson for the Hampshire Constabulary stated: “We were informed that Sussex Police had confirmed the death of the 32-year-old male from Yapton, Arundel.

“The circumstances were unrelated to this collision.”

He was first taken into custody on charges of driving while intoxicated and causing death.

The woman has been released on bond until November 21 after being detained on suspicion of causing death via reckless driving.

The other man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains released under investigation. 

Sussex Police have been contacted for further comment.
