A stabbing has claimed the life of one man and left another injured.
Police were called to an address in Tasmania Close, Basingstoke, Hampshire, shortly before 21:00 BST on Sunday, when a man in his 30s from the town was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other victim, a guy in his 30s from Newbury, Berkshire, had critical but non-life-threatening injuries.
There have been no arrests, according to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary.
The force said it was believed the people involved in the incident were known to each other, with no wider risk to the general public.
It is appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
