BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(YATELEY ROAD, SANDHURST) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
a) Yateley Road, Sandhurst from the junction with A321 High Street for approximately 130m.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via Yateley Road, B3272 Reading Road, Mill Lane, Lower Church Road, A321 High Street, and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while South East Water carry out cover and frame repairs in the carriageway.
The Order went into effect and is only good for a maximum of six months. As of right now, the shutdown is scheduled to take place.
Only when the proper road signs and markings are in place will this order be in effect.
