An inquest heard how a pedestrian died from various injuries after being hit by a car on Great Yarmouth’s coastline.
Paul Leavy, 39, was struck on the South Beach Parade.
The driver of a Tesla, a guy in his twenties, was detained on suspicion of causing death by hazardous driving and released on police bail until November 8, Norfolk Police said.
Mr Leavy died of various injuries in a road traffic collision, according to the inquest that began at Norfolk Coroners’ Court in Norwich.
