A man killed in a crash on the M65 on Friday night has been identified as a suspect in the death of a woman, according to police.
Officers in Greater Manchester were called to a residence in Walnut Avenue, Bury, at around 10.30 p.m. on Friday, where a woman was discovered deceased, with officers suspecting she died earlier that day.
Barbara Nomakhosi, 35, has been identified, and specialist police are continuing to support her family as investigations into her death continue.
Greater Manchester Police claimed they identified a suspect after her death and think he died in a deadly collision between an HGV and a pedestrian that same night.
A man in his 40s was pronounced dead on the spot.
Barbara’s family spokesman stated: “Barbara was a compassionate and hard-working individual. She was very caring and often checked in on her family and friends.
“Barbara adored her family and enjoyed working as a carer. We adored Barbara and shall miss her dearly.
