California, Maryland Emergency services were called to a significant motor vehicle accident near St. Andrews Church Road and Indian Bridge Road at 2:18 p.m. on September 20, 2024.
Upon their arrival, the crews discovered numerous cars parked in the street, one of which was on its side and had a trapped person. After stabilizing the car, firefighters freed the trapped person.
After one patient was assessed by EMS on the spot, they were ground transported to UM Capital Regional Medical Center to receive additional care.
The inquiry into the crash’s cause is still ongoing.
