A 35-year-old driver has died in an accident on the A34 in Berkshire.
Police claimed his Toyota Yaris collided with a black BMW on the southbound highway near Speen, Newbury, around 22:10 BST yesterday.
The Toyota driver from Hampshire died on the scene. The road was stopped for several hours while detectives worked on the area.
Anyone who observed the crash or saw either car prior to it is requested to contact the police.
