The incident on Moss Road near Dunmore caused a seven-hour road closure. Emergency workers arrived at the site about 6.15pm.
The crash involved a white Ford Focus.
Sadly, three young males, ages 21, 23, and 24, were pronounced deceased on the spot.
The female driver, aged 20, was brought to Forth Valley Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed for almost seven hours to allow investigations to be conducted.
A neighbour stated, “It was a white automobile. We weren’t inside when it happened. There was a white automobile in the trees, and emergency personnel were present.
“Moss Road is an accident hotspot. There have been previous crashes, but I do not believe there have been any deaths. This is a shame. “It’s clearly a tragedy for everyone involved and their families.”
Police are asking anyone who observed the crash to contact them.
Enquiries into the full circumstances are underway.
Sergeant Mike Thomson stated, “Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the men who died during this difficult time.”
“Our investigations are continue to determine the exact facts, and I encourage anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet talked with us to contact us.
“I would also appeal for anyone who was driving in the area and who may have dash-cam footage that could assist to contact us.”
