Thames Valley Police is looking for witnesses after a deadly collision in Bracknell.
On Sunday at around 1.18am, a Vauxhall Corsa collided with a Mercedes E Class on Nine Mile Ride in Bracknell, near the intersection of Crowthorne Road and Forresters Way.
The Corsa’s driver, a male in his late teens from Essex, was brought to the hospital and tragically died from his injuries. His next of kin have been informed, and they are being assisted by professionally trained officials.
A passenger in the Corsa sustained significant injuries and was brought to the hospital, where he remains. One other Corsa passenger had minor injuries.
The Mercedes occupants all sustained minor injuries.Those who had minor injuries were discharged from the hospital.
According to investigating officer PC Jamie Payne of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, “We are appealing for witnesses following this road traffic collision in which a man tragically died.”
“Our prayers are with the man’s family during this terrible time.
“We are requesting anyone who was driving in the area and has dashcam footage of the collision to upload it to our internet portal page. If you have any witness information, please call 101 and quote reference 43240346351.”
