Traffic on the M2 was halted due to an accident.
Motorists traveling along the coast between Junction 4 for Gillingham and Junction 5 for the Stockbury Roundabout in Sittingbourne were impacted.
A police spokeswoman said: “Kent Police responded to a report of a two-car collision between Junctions 4 and 5 of the M2 at 6.20pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024.”
“No serious injuries were reported and all lanes were reopened by around 7.30pm.”
