Three teenage girls are being held in custody after they were charged in connection with a stabbing in High Wycombe which left another teenager with life-threatening injuries.

Police were called to the A404 junction on Amersham Road at around 1:35am, August 18, and found a girl who had been stabbed in a life-threatening condition. She remains in hospital in a stable condition. Laiba Ashfaq, 18, of Cross Road in High Wycombe and two other girls, aged 17 and 13, who can’t be named for legal reasons but are both from High Wycombe, were charged with one count of grievous bodily harm, one count of burglary with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and one count of criminal damage on Saturday, August 17

A 19-year-old woman from High Wycombe was also arrested related to the incident. She has been released on bail from the police until October 25.
