Lincolnshire Police stated, “We are currently at the scene of an accident on Station Road in Holton-le-Clay. Roads have been closed in the area, including the A16 on the Louth side of the incident. As a result, traffic is heavy, and motorists are advised to avoid the area if at all possible.
The road stays closed for around four hours following the accident.
The accident investigation is still ongoing, and vehicles are being requested to continue to avoid the area.
Traffic is clogging the A16 near Holton Le Clay, between Louth and Grimsby.
