Following an accident with an HGV in Norfolk, close to King’s Lynn, a motorist in his 30s has passed away.
On Monday at 10:12 BST, a Suzuki Jimny and a Mercedes HGV collided on the A47 in Terrington St. John, close to King’s Lynn.
After the road was closed for approximately seven hours, emergency services, including police, fire, ambulance, and air ambulance, were summoned out.
The man in his 30s who was operating the Suzuki was declared deceased on the spot.
Crews had to utilise hydraulic rescue equipment as a result of the Norfolk Fire and Rescue service sending appliances from Terrington, King’s Lynn South and North fire stations, and others.
Around 17:15, the road reopened.
Any witnesses to the collision or anyone with dashcam footage was asked to come forward by Norfolk Police.
