A woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving
Last night in Sutton Coldfield (July 25), a pedestrian died as a result of an accident. Police are asking for information.
At approximately 10.20 p.m., a car and a man collided at the intersection of Boldmere Road and Redacre Road in Sutton Coldfield, resulting in the call for officers.
The man was treated on the spot, but regrettably, he passed away despite the best efforts of his paramedic colleagues. On suspicion of causing death by unsafe driving, a woman was detained at the site and is still being held.
According to a statement from West Midlands Police, “We are urging witnesses and anyone with dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage to come forward as we continue our investigation.”
