According to the Yarmouth Police Department, a Massachusetts high school staffer and assistant football coach has been accused of raping a youngster.
On Monday, Daniel Robles, a paraeducator and assistant football coach at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School, was arrested and charged with indecent assault and battery on a kid under the age of 14, as well as rape.
Authorities emphasised that the incident for which Robles was accused has no connection to Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School at this time.
Officials said the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District promptly placed Robles on administrative leave after learning of his arrest.
Robles was arraigned in Barnstable District Court following his arrest. The Yarmouth Police Department’s investigation into the event is ongoing, and more charges may be filed at a later date.
