Following severe injuries sustained in a four-vehicle traffic accident, an 85-year-old woman passed away.
She passed away in a hospital yesterday as a result of the collision that occurred on 22 on the A415 near Abingdon Town Football Club.
A silver VW Golf hit a black VW Polo after first colliding with a blue Ford C-Max, according to Thames Valley Police (TVP).
The victim was a passenger in the silver Ford Focus that was struck by the Ford C-Max.
According to TVP, the 60-year-old driver of the Ford Focus had been treated for minor injuries at the hospital before being released.
The 40-year-old driver of the VW Golf was also transported to an Oxford hospital for minor injuries.
The 67-year-old female driver of the black VW Polo was released after suffering a fractured wrist.
The occupants of the blue Ford C-Max, a 36-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl, sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
