24, die in car crash in Doncaster

Following a car accident in Doncaster, a young man passed away.

At 11:53 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, South Yorkshire Police received a call regarding an accident on the A638 near Hampole, Doncaster. A blue Mazda MX-5, traveling north toward Wakefield, had gone off the road and crashed.
At the scene, a man in his 24s passed away. His family has been notified by the police, and they are receiving assistance from the officers.

Between Leys Lane and the intersection with the A1(M), the A638 was blocked in both directions. Since then, it has been fully reopened.

“We were called at 11.53pm last night (4 April) following reports of a collision on the A638 in the Hampole area of Doncaster,” South Yorkshire Police stated. A blue Mazda MX-5 is said to have veered off the road and into a single-vehicle collision while traveling north on the carriageway toward Wakefield.

Sadly, a 24-year-old man passed away there. Officers have been notified and are providing support to his family. Between Leys Lane and the A1(M) intersection, the A638 was blocked in both directions; however, it has now fully reopened.
The police are requesting that anyone with information regarding the collision call 101 and reference incident number 1101 of Thursday.
